The US stock market will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving and will close half-day early on Friday. On Monday, US bourse rebounded, with Alphabet (GOOG.US) leading the rise in techs.
At close, the Nasdaq skyrocketed 598 points or 2.7% to 22,872, marking its best day since May 12. The S&P 500 rose 102 points or 1.6% to 6,705. The DJIA lagged the most with an upswing of 202 points or 0.4% to 46,448.
Tesla (TSLA.US) spiked 6.8%, making it the best performer among the "Magnificent Seven". Google released an upgraded AI model Gemini 3 last week, just eight months after launching Gemini 2.5, shoring up Alphabet's stock by 6.3%. Amazon (AMZN.US), Nvidia (NVDA.US), and Meta (META.US) rallied 2-3%.
The increment in AI stocks was notable, with Broadcom (AVGO.US) up 11% and Micron (MU.US) up 8%. Palantir (PLTR.US) and AMD (AMD.US) each jumped up about 5%.
